| Description | The paper presents results from the nationwide CZECHSEX survey, aiming to map the sexual behavior, health, and overall well-being of the inhabitants of the Czech Republic. The survey polled 6,669 respondents aged 18 and over. The average age of first sexual intercourse was 18.3 years for men and 17.5 years for women. The results show that 24% of women and 36% of men in the 18-25 age group have never had sex. The younger generation watches pornography much more and more often. However, young people are more critical of it and its influence on sex life compared to older age groups. Whether there is a decline in partner sex among young adults needs to be verified by repeating the national survey of sexual behavior. |
