| Description | This article examines the Facebook profile of the Russian Embassy in North Macedonia from August 2021 to August 2022 to shed light on the broader strategies of the Russian Federation in the Balkan region. Through a content analysis of posts, it reveals that the Embassy's social media activity intensified after February 2022, shifting from fostering bilateral relations to promoting the Russian narrative and worldview. By this analysis, the article argues that the primary objective of this shift is to advance the concept of Russkiy Mir (Russian World), using social media as a strategic tool to influence public opinion in the Balkans. |
