Description | Around 1700, a new Parnassus fountain with apparently imperial symbolism was built in Brno, and only a few years later festivities and fireworks were organized in the city in honor of Emperors Leopold I and Joseph I. Their organizer was Senator Johann Ignaz Dechau and their theme was the celebration of Habsburg rule. |
