| Description | The chapter describes the current state of the Czech arms industry, and analysis its opportunities for revival in connection with the war in Ukraine. It reaches the conclusion that the Czech arms industry continues to be plagued by low demand for its modern products, such as self-propelled howitzers or passive tracking devices, which in turn prevents their cost-effective assembly-line production. Conversely, there is a notable ongoing expansion of capacities in the area of ammunition, particularly large-caliber ammunition. |
