| Description | Supporting the well-being of exchange students has been a long-standing and ever-present topic at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University. The workshop will present effective and practical ways to support the psychological well-being and overall comfort of students on arrival and during their stay. Examples can be easily implemented in the context of universities and other educational institutions. Concrete examples of supportive activities include the organisation of social events, cultural activities and thematic workshops to help students integrate into their new environment, make contacts and overcome possible obstacles. The International Office's individualised approach to each student, taking into account specific needs, cultural differences and personal preferences, also plays an important role. The workshop will offer a space not only for the presentation of proven approaches, but also for mutual inspiration. Approximately 30 minutes will be set aside for sharing experiences, insights and ideas from the workshop participants themselves. This interactive format will enable exchange of best practices and the brainstorming for new ideas. |
