| Description | The article deals with forensic genetic genealogy as an investigative tool of its kind, which on the one hand represents a unique way of searching for perpetrators of serious crimes or identifying unidentified human remains, but on the other hand creates a number of ethical and legal questions. The focus of the article is on the assessment of the conditions for the use of forensic genetic genealogy in the Czech legal system, including the discussion of various models of future legal regulation of the issue. Not only international obligations but also foreign legislative approaches are used as a starting point. |
