• Description: As every year, the staff of the Summer School of Slavonic (Czech) Studies has prepared for its 58th session – which takes place from 26th of July to 23rd of August 2025 at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University – lectures on Czech language and literature. These lecture will be held by Czech and foreign scholars. This cycle is supplemented by tectures and discussions on subjects that the students were interested in recently. Our main goal is to improve the quality of teaching constantly, and therefore, basing on students’ suggestions, we added to the collection of abstracts also the abstracts from the discussions, short characteristics of films that will be shown during the Summer School and also selected essays that students during the past Summer Schools wrote. We hope that our collection will help the students to be well informed about the programme of the Summer School.
