Description Altogether 190 taxa of bryophytes (23 liverworts and 167 mosses) were recorded during excursions in Podyjí National Park, South Moravia. The most interesting records included the first Czech record of Cinclidotus fontinaloides (Critically Endangered) in the Czech part of the Dyje River valley and several close occurrences of Ulota hutchinsiae (Endangered), recently recorded only in screes beneath the Ice Caves (Ledové sluje), a pseudokarst hole complex. Additionally, we found three Vulnerable species (Buxbaumia viridis, Didymodon sinuosus, Orthotrichum rupestre) and six Near Threatened species (Reboulia hemisphaerica, Riccia ciliata, Buxbaumia aphylla, Didymodon luridus, Loeskeobryum brevirostre, Orthotrichum patens). Threatened and regionally important taxa are commented in detail.
