| Description | The Business Judgment Rule is a well-known rule, but it has more than one possible meaning. It plays an important role in corporate law, and its relevance to other legal entities is also debated. This article focuses on its use in the administration of foundations, which are different in nature from business corporations. It also mentions the applicability of BJR in the administration of a Czech trust-like structure. The article concludes that the use of BJR is limited to decisions comparable to a business decision in a public limited company, but this does not remove some leeway in decision making. |
