| Description | The contribution addresses teacher professionalization in the context of forced migration in Central Europe. It stems from the European project Act4Mig: A Course for Teachers on Forced Migration, which develops a digital self-study course for teachers in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine. The paper presents conceptual frameworks (e.g., migration pedagogy, intercultural pedagogy, reflective teaching practice), outlines the qualitative research design (interviews, document analysis), and reports preliminary findings from four national contexts, focusing on teacher support structures, challenges of including students with migration backgrounds, and the role of civil society actors. The aim is to foster discussion on the integration of educational migration research in Central Europe and to lay the foundations for policy recommendations and a practice-oriented teacher course. |
