| Description | This study examines the correlation between lens thickness and lens density in patients with cataract. The aim was to determine how progression of nuclear density affects anterior segment biometric parameters. A statistically significant correlation between lens density, age, and lens thickness was demonstrated in a cohort of 88 eyes. The results suggest that structural changes occur early in the disease, which has a major impact on preoperative preparation and surgical safety. |
