| Description | European industry is suffering from volatile energy prices and is financing the rapid decarbonization of the economy. These circumstances also pose a challenge to state aid law. The “Clean Industrial Deal State Aid Framework” is intended, among other things, to enable electricity price relief for energy-intensive consumers while creating incentives for decarbonization. This article compares the current framework for electricity price subsidies with the previous temporary framework and addresses the criticisms raised by CISAF. |
