| Description | Internet platforms provide space for ahuge number of users, but their regulationby the state is quite problematic. The article examines the content moderation onplatforms and its relationship to the freedom of expression for both users andplatforms, considering differences in the EU and the US. Italso introduces keyconcepts of platform regulation and liability, including the relationship betweenregulation and censorship. Aspecial section focuses on Meta’s moderation, withamore detailed analysis of hate speech regulation and related decisions of theOversight Board. |
