| Description | Present knowledge of small mammal communities is given. In total, 8 insectivore species (80 % of all insectivores of the Czech Republic) and 14 rodent species (66%)have been recorded. The small mammalcommunity structure in different habitats of the Odra river floodplain is analysed. Neomys spp., Microtus agrestis, Apodemus agrarius are typical wetland species. The high species diversity is recorded in floodplain forests, seminatural meadows and reeds. |
