| Description | Up to 1999, the snail Columella aspera was only rarely found in the Czech Republic. Moreover, more detailed research confirmed that the former really is a member of the Czech Republic's fauna, inhabiting habitats which are not common for snails, e.g. coniferous forests, growths of bilberries and heaths on acid basement (lack of calcium). |
