| Description | The paper, presented at a scientific seminar on social pathology, gives the features of women's delinquency, essential scientific approaches to this social problem and trends of women's criminality in the last ten years in the Czech Republic. The crucial topic is human motivation from the standpoint of legal attitudes and value orientations of delinquent women, their acceptance of social norms and differences between mechanisms of social control in relation to sex. The theoretical analysis of these subject matters is complemented with the data from the representative sociological research of sentenced women in Czech prisons |
