| Description | During the summer period of 2004 complete research of habitat types was carried out in the area of Strunjan salinas and Stjuža lagoon. At the same time samplings of epifauna and infauna were done in the area of Stjuža lagoon, Pretočna lagoon and in the estuary. 97 species of invetebrates and at least 15 species of fishes were recorded. Diversity of fauna in Strunjan lagoons is relatively high despite of small absolute area of examined habitats. |
