Description Aim of the study was to investigate the relation between:1)symptoms and neurogical soft signs(NSS), 2)response to treatment and NSS, 3)neuropsychological performance and NSS in patients suffering from the first episode schizophrenia.In male patients hospitalised at the Department of Psychiatry. NSS were asseded with the help of teh Neurogical Evalution Scale(NES). There was a significant correlation between negative PANSS suscore and one NES component. A signification correlated statistically significantly with a psychomotor speed, both reaction time and the number of correctly matched categories in WCST.
