| Description | Newspapers published by Brno's Germans at the turn of the century and in the interbellum period had very distinct editorial styles and attitudes. In this paper, the reflections of the 1922 death of the Pope Benedict XV in Brünner Morgenpost, social-democratic Der Volksfreund and the liberal Tagesbote are analysed. Directions for further research are outlined. |
