| Description | The article deals with assessment methods used to assess the natural potential of tourism. The suggested approach proposes to evaluate the potential on basis of functional utilization of an area (FUA).The assessment process consists of four steps: (a) listing all potential ways of FUA, (b) setting assessment criteria applied on individual ways of FUA, (c) criteria assessment with the help of selected methods, (d) overall synthesis of potential defined in FUA. The above-suggested methodology is demonstrated on a specific example of FUA assessment water recreation. |
