| Description | The authors of this article focus their attention on changes of the industrial manufacture in the cities of Plzen and Brno during the period of transformation in 1990s. Those cities belong to traditional Czech industrials centers. The article deals with the issue how both cities approached to solve negative results of the transformation process. It compares the differences of transformation process development as well. The subject of such a comparison is also to identify reasons of both successful and unsuccessful changes in the industrial manufacture after 1989. |
