| Description | This article is based on a sociological and photographic analysis of the rural environment in thirteen villages in the micro-region of Drahanska highland that took place from October 2005 to January 2006. The methodological basis for the project was the so-called “optics of critical view” developed by Bohuslav Blazek. The aim of the project was to describe the relationship between current changes in the cultural context and visual dimensions of the rural environment and their eventual environmental implications. Attention is paid to the original phenomena of do-it-yourselfism, rural aesthetics, recycling and use of construction materials. |
