Rapid detection of yeast infections in patients with febrile neutropenia by PCR-RFLP

• Description: Three hundred and three blood samples from 57 patients with febrile neutropenia were examined by a PCR-based assay for presence of fungal DNA. The results were compared withs results of cultivation and mannan antigen detection.
