| Description | The text summarizes result of interdisciplinary research in the field of hunting and settlement strategies of the Magdalenian. In particular, contemporary English literature interpreting archeological contexts on the basis of ethno-archaeological observations has been excerpted. The significance of presented models for research on the Magdalenian lies in the possibility of their application in current investigations in the Czech Republic and introduction of new issues which have not yet been fully addressed (use of archaeozoological material from previous research, etc.). The comparison of results with the Magdalanian regions in the west also illustrates limits and information potential of Czech sites. |
