Dilatator was injected through sclerocorneal (corneal) tunnel incision of the standard width of 2,8mm. There were measured width of the pupil before, during and after surgery. Results: No ruptures of the pupil edges, iris haemorhages or paralysis of the pupil were noted. Conclusion: The use of the pupillary dilatator Milvella Perfect Pupil has a lot of advantages for cataract surgery in eyes with very narrow pupil such as safely inducing mydriasis in the course of cataract surgery, protecting of pupil edge and minimal damage of iris sphincter.
