| Description | n the first part the paper summarizes and brings critical comments on the basic development of the Czech Music Lexicography. The following part outlines the conceptual, methodological and technical aspects of Český hudební slovník osob a institucí (Czech Music Dictionary of Persons and Institutions; work in progress), mainly from the view of the electronic publication in the form of an open-source internet database, which, in this form and extent, is used for the first time in the Czech Musicology. Other dictionary projects, in preparation by the Music Lexicography Department at the Instutite of Musicology, Masaryk University, in the form of open-source electronic database systems, are described in the third part of the paper. |
