| Description | Geo-informatics has been developing quickly, affecting a number of other scientific disciplines in the process. Its position has been strengthening. Geo-informatics has been used by a number of disciplines of geological science using spatial information. The main contributors to the dynamic progress of geo-informatics include private businesses, universities and institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. In the Czech Republic the demand for specialists in informatics and geo-informatics has significantly increased recently. The interest in geo-information courses at universities has been tremendous. |
