• Description: The influence of physical-chemical properties six tested soils (artificial soil, LUFA 2.2 soil from Germany, four czech natural soils near Brno) on behaviour of enchytraeids was investigated in the Avoidance test. The results indicated the relationship between the escape reaction (preference or avoidance of the soil) and properties of the soil. Enchytraeus crypticus was able to stay relatively in most of tested soils, whereas Enchytraeus albidus prefered some soils more than the others. The values were compared with data from literature.
