Description The Lisbon strategy is extensive European policy, which has complexly defined contemporary problems of European countries, has proposed common procedures to solve them and has set down clear aims. On the other hand it keeps decision autonomy to European countries, which tool will be preferred to achieve these aims according to national specifics and traditions. The meaning of the Lisbon strategy implementation into Czech social policy grows every year. The contribution analyses the amount of social expenses in the Czech Republic and it evaluates degree of integration and aims achievement of the Lisbon strategy.
