• Description: The presented work was focused on the species identification of 29 new isolated bacterial strains preliminary identified as B. longum. The other aim was the estimation of relationships of studied strains using rep-PCR (GTG)5. A dendrogram showing the intraspecies variability of strains was constructed using UPGMA analysis and Pearsons correlation coeficients.
