| Description | The paper deals with problems that Czech learners of German have in formulating change-of-state-predicates (accomplishments), when they are asked to denominalize nominalizations of the type "tax increase". I suggest a three-stage model which allows to identify the minimum of information necessary for the learner to fulfill this task. The model is checked than against empirical evidence from some of the most common accomplishment predicates in textbooks. |
