Keywords Exploitation - polished stone artefacts - Brno massif
Description In the area of the South Moravia there are several important sources of lithic raw materials, which were used for production of polished artefacts. Evidence of the lithic raw material exploitation is from the area of Western surroundings of the town Brno (Brno-Massif unit). There is evidence of utilization of several types of raw materials: greenschist of Želešice type, amphibolic diorite of Rokle type, diorite porphyry and other various types of not known metabasites.
