| Description | This article deals with business incubators issues and especially with possibilities of their activities and reached results assessment. In the introductory part of the article there are characterized business incubators and explained their functioning and importance for society. Next part is about ways of incubators assessment. The assessment can be distinguished from the time point of view (shortterm and longterm effects). The required data can be obtained from managers of incubators or from tenant firms. There exist five basic categories of indicators: assessment of efficiency, effectiveness, utility, relevance and sustainability. Specific indicators on this basis are suggested and some of them are demonstrated on practical examples. The article is also about business incubators in the Czech Republic. |
