| Description | Text is focused on critique of translation in Czech language of term pattern. The term is a key word in Batesons seminal book Mind and Nature. Author published his previous comments to translation in 2002 in journal Konfrontace when the first suggestion of Czech equivalent was announced. In the Czech edition of Batesons book published 2006 the key word pattern was translated unsystematically into six diverse Czech terms. It is unacceptable. The current translation might lead to distortion of Batesons ideas. |
