Description Problems of enviroment pollutions is in present more and more topical. Among the significant pollutants belong heavy metals and primarily toxic metal ions (lead, cadmium, arsen and others). Living organisms protect themselves against effecting of these elements very intensively by synthesis of various protecting compounds. The importent ones are the compounds containing the sulphhydryl group. In the present work we focused on effect of chelat Pb-EDTA in three weeks living plants of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris, var. atissima) monitoring.
