Description Real-time PCR results showed increased CB1 mRNA expression after Met first dose followed by decrease in CB1 mRNA expression after the last dose of the repeated treatment. This suggests that methamphetamine administration can elicit changes on the genomic level at least in the mouse mesencephalon neurons, both, in animals after acute drug administration and sensitised animals.
