• Description: The paper presents the further development of the conceptual model of the Single Information Space for the Environment in Environment (SISEE) and compares this with an upper ontology concept of the SISEE. The developed conceptual model of the SISEE enables an implementation the vision of development an integrated, modern, common, shared and sustained Single European Information Space infrastructure for environmental information exchange and environmental management in Europe.
