Description Severe brain injuries change definitly cellular as well as humoral part of immunity. While cellular part seems to be suppressed, antibodies change depending on the occurrence of extracranial inflammatory complications. Left located focal brain damage causes higher decrease of immune system parameters and it results to a higher occurrence of extracranial complications and finaly to the increase of the mortality.
