| Description | The article deals with the newly discovered doctor theses by Karel Janáček on the accentuation in the texts of lithuanian poet Donelaitis (aka. Donalitius). This significant study was never published and remained unknown until November 2007, when discovered in Brno. The article introduces the Janáček theses by giving the main information about its origins, scientific context, extent of the linguistic material in question and methods, chosen by analyst to describe the accentuation rules in Donelaitis texts. |
