Description The behavioural part of the study confirmed both behavioural sensitization and cross-sensitization to methamphetamine. Results from qPCR showed in these animals increase in D1 mRNA expression. Changes in D2 mRNA expression were not significant at all, which is to certain extent in agreement with other reports suggesting that there is no clear information whether the interaction of D1 and D2 receptors can produce a cooperative effect on reinforcement processes.
