Description Market orientation is in the centre of research of scholars and practitioners for almost two decades. This was the first attempt made in systematical analyses of market orientation in our conditions in general and in engineering industry in particular. The author have used original methodology of market orientation analysis. The research has demonstrated the positive correlation between market orientation and business performance in power engineering industry in the Czech Republic.
