| Description | Chromosomal rearrangements can be frequently observed in tumor cells and multiple myeloma is not an exception. Karyotypic abnormalities of MM are accompanied by changes in the epigenome, including aberrant DNA/histone methylation and histone acetylation. Changes in DNA and/or histone methylation and histone acetylation were described for genes responsible for tumor cell transformation.
