| Description | We discuss several drawbacks of Ant-Miner, a learning system that was inspired by behavior of social insects. First we bring experimental analysis of time com- plexity of the original algorithm. We show that Wisconsin Breast Cancer data that was used in most of experiments is not appropriate. Then we describe a new version, Ant-Miner+ and also a new quality criterion. We compare performance of Ant-Miner with Ant-Miner+ and Ant-Miner+ with other learning algorithms. |
