Description Laboratory measurements can not cover all the conditions under which the photovoltaic power station operates. The efficiency of the photovoltaic systems is affected by many factors. Factors such the structure and type of material of the solar cells can be influenced during their production. The state of the atmosphere, air temperature, geographical location can be affected only by a small part such as the orientation towards the sky of the PV panel, but most of them are unabled to influence. However, knowledge of their impact on the efficiency of the PV power station is required for simulation calculated the energy yield and economic return. The paper deals with the impact of temperature, various types of cloud, wind speed, on the basis of long-term observations on 40kWp PV system located at the Faculty of education of Masaryk University in Brno.
