| Description | Growing count of interactions among geographical localities and especially growing speed of movement in space belongs to accompanying phenomenon of globalization. Innovation in transport during 20th century contributed to substantial growth of spatial mobility and transport speed. Phenomenon referred to as time-space compression markedly influences unequal shrinking of geographical space, which is also reflected in its alternative perception. Time accessibility of geographical localities causes geographical space relativization, which is in this paper accordingly expressed using time-space maps. |
