| Description | The review article of the most recent etymological dictionary of Latin and other Italic languages from Michiel de Vaan, the representant of the Leiden Indo-European school. In the article some new original etymological solutions are highly evaluated, plus a systematic and consistent use of the laryngeal theory. On the other hand, a lot of additional data or alternative etymologies had to be supplemented. |
