| Description | The purpose of chapter is to describe and explain connection between results of preferential voting and concept of 'Friends and neighbours effect'. Variables for regression analysis (ordinal number, education, age and occupation of candidate and distance) were derived from theoretical bases. Then hypothesis connecting determinants of support for certain candidate with his support were tested on two levels - aggregated regional level and level of municipalities. Important factors are ordinal number as well as education, age and occupation. Influential variables on municipal level are ordinal number and distance from residence of candidate. |
