| Description | New sporadic native silver in dumps of medieval silver mine in Helenín (Jihlava ore district) was found. The silver is almost fine (Ag>99%) and occurs in quartz-dominant mineral assemblages with supergenne hydrooxides Fe, acanthite, anglesite and cerusite, including relics of galena, sphalerite, chalkopyrite and chalcolite (?). Silver is probably product of oxidation-cementation processes. |
