| Description | The article deals with life and the collecting and sponsoring activities of Count Johann Matthias of Thurn adn Valsassina, canon and senior deacon of Olomouc Cathedral chapter. Selected examples of the commissioning activities of Johann Matthias of Thurn demonstrate, in a number of ways, the typical features of the mentality of a Baroque nobleman and a prelate as well as the nature of his cultural patronage. |
