Description The analysis shows that there are structural differences between Czech relative clauses with který and jenž. They can be captured under the head external hypothesis for deriving of the former clauses and the matching hypothesis for deriving of the later. The changes of the type personal pronoun [3. pers] > relative pronoun, personal pronoun > possessive pronoun, possessive pronoun [3. pers.] > possessive relative pronoun play a role in these changes.
